About Me

I’m Daniela Baez, a multimedia producer and technical director with a passion for storytelling and a deep dedication to delivering impactful, high-quality content. With a career spanning various roles in video production, I have honed my expertise in managing all stages of the creative process, from conceptualization to final delivery, across a range of platforms and audiences.

Currently, I serve as the Multimedia Producer at Seacrest Studios, a Ryan Seacrest Foundation initiative located at Northwell Health’s Cohen Children’s Medical Center. As the lead for the only Seacrest Studio in New York, I manage all technical and creative operations, producing high-resolution photo and video content of celebrity visits, specialty projects, and daily programs. I also oversee live broadcasts and pre-recorded programming for a 24/7 closed-circuit network, acting as both a behind-the-scenes technical lead and on-air talent.

Before this role, I worked as a Technical Director for LiveX, where I played an instrumental role in producing 180 workout videos for the Expect Fitness app. By live-switching multi-camera productions and collaborating with creative teams, I helped deliver polished, ready-to-publish content for their platform.

Prior to that, I spent over three years at SiriusXM in the Video Programming department. As a Jr. Technical Director/Production Assistant, I live-switched studio productions for talk shows, podcasts, and special events, ensuring high production quality for the SXM app and social media platforms. I gained valuable experience working with advanced production tools, coordinating offsite productions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on everything from pre-production to post-production.

My passion for video production began during my time at Santa Clara University, where I graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Communication, emphasizing Digital Filmmaking. I also minored in French & Francophone Studies and Economics. While there, I produced six documentary and fiction video projects, developing narratives, lighting scenery, managing sound, and editing footage. My senior thesis, Teacher’s Pet, showcased my ability to manage every stage of a production. This 10-minute short film involved creating a production book—including a screenplay, treatment, budgets, call sheets, schedules, and script breakdowns—18+ hours of on-location filming, and 40+ hours of editing over a 20-week period.

With expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Avid Media Composer, vMix, and other industry-standard tools, I thrive in fast-paced, high-profile production environments. My multilingual abilities—fluent in Spanish and French—allow me to connect with diverse teams and audiences.

Whether working behind the camera or shaping creative direction, I am committed to crafting engaging stories that inform, entertain, and inspire.
